A fine watch became a status tax — most of the price spent on a name, not the making. We thought the woman who values craft deserved the craft itself, and far less of the markup.

MEET THE FOUNDER
It started with a watch that wasn't for sale.
My grandmother's watch never kept perfect time, but it kept every story. When I went looking for one of my own, I found two worlds disposable, or absurdly priced for the name on the dial. Nothing made simply, and well, for a woman who wanted to own her time.
So Oath began as a quiet correction. A small studio, a short list of promises, and the conviction that the people who make beautiful things should be the ones you're paying for.
