Welcome to OATH. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website www.oathwatches.in (“Site”) and your purchase of products from OATH. By accessing our Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1 Definitions

  • “OATH,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to OATH.

  • “You,” “your,” or “customer” refers to any individual using the Site or purchasing products from OATH.

  • “Product(s)” refers to the watches, accessories, straps, and any other items sold by OATH.

  • “Site” refers to www.oathofficial.com and any associated mobile applications.

2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Site and make a purchase. By placing an order, you represent that you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into a binding contract.

3 Account Registration

You may create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or use of your account. OATH shall not be liable for any loss arising from your failure to protect your account information.

4 Product Information & Pricing

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing on our Site are accurate. However, we do not guarantee that all information is error-free. Product colours may vary slightly due to screen display settings. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a technical error, OATH reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund, or contact you with the correct price before proceeding.

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable GST, unless stated otherwise.

5 Orders & Payment

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including but

not limited to cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Payment must be completed at the time of placing the order (except COD). We accept credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, wallets, and EMI through our secure payment gateway partners. OATH does not store your full payment card details.

6 Shipping & Delivery

Please refer to our Shipping Policy (Section 1 of this document) for complete details regarding delivery timeframes, shipping methods, and related terms. Title and risk of loss for products pass to you upon delivery by our shipping carrier.

7 Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Please refer to our Return & Exchange Policy (Section 3 of this document) for complete details. All returns are subject to the conditions outlined therein.

8 Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, icons, photographs, product designs, videos, and software — is the intellectual property of OATH or its licensors and is protected under Indian copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without our prior written consent.

The OATH name, logo, and all associated branding are registered trademarks of [PERFECTLY AVERAGE JEWELLERY PVT.LTD.]. Unauthorised use of our trademarks is strictly prohibited.

9 User Conduct

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Site. You further agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, interfere with the security of the Site, use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data, impersonate any person or entity, or post or transmit harmful content (viruses, malware, spam).

10 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OATH, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, your purchase of products, or any delay or failure in delivery. Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the product(s) giving rise to the claim.

11 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OATH and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of the Site, or any violation of applicable law.

12 Force Majeure

OATH shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, war, terrorism, strikes, lockdowns, power failures, or Internet/telecommunications disruptions.

13 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Jaipur, India.

14 Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, we encourage you to first contact us at support@oathwatches.in so we can attempt to resolve the matter amicably. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may initiate arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed mutually, in the English language, at Jaipur, India. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding.

15 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return Policy, and Warranty Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and OATH regarding your use of the Site and purchase of products.

17 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

 

2. WARRANTY & SERVICE POLICY

Every OATH watch is made with intention and inspected with care. We stand behind the quality of our timepieces with a comprehensive warranty.

2.1 Warranty Coverage

All OATH watches purchased from www.oathwatches.in or authorised retail partners come with a 2-year limited warranty from the date of original purchase. The warranty covers defects in movement (mechanism), watch case construction, and crystal/glass integrity.

2.2 What Is Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear, including minor scratches on the case, crystal, or strap.

  • Damage caused by mishandling, drops, impacts, or pressure.

  • Water damage to models not rated for water resistance, or water damage due to misuse (e.g., pressing buttons underwater on a non-diver watch).

  • Damage from exposure to chemicals, solvents, perfumes, or extreme temperatures.

  • Damage resulting from unauthorised repair, modification, or servicing by a non-OATH-authorised service provider.

  • Battery depletion (batteries are consumable items; however, the first battery replacement within the warranty period is free).

  • Straps and bracelets (these are covered for manufacturing defects for 6 months from purchase).

  • Colour fading or plating wear over time due to natural use.

2.3 How to Claim Warranty

  1. Contact us at support@oathofficial.com with your order number, date of purchase, and a description and photos/video of the issue.

  2. Our team will assess the claim within 48 hours and advise on next steps.

  3. If a physical inspection is needed, we will arrange a prepaid pickup from your address.

  4. Warranty repair or replacement is typically completed within 2–4 weeks, depending on the nature of the issue and parts availability.

  5. You will be notified via email and SMS once your watch is repaired and shipped back to you.

2.4 Warranty Repair & Replacement

If a defect is confirmed under warranty, OATH will, at its sole discretion, repair the watch using new or equivalent-quality parts, or replace it with the same model (or an equivalent model if the original has been discontinued). Replaced parts become the property of OATH. A repaired or replaced watch continues to carry warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period.

2.5 Post-Warranty Service

After your warranty period expires, OATH continues to support your watch. We offer paid servicing including battery replacement. Please contact support@oathofficial.com for service pricing and turnaround times.

2.6 Proof of Purchase

To avail warranty service, you must present a valid proof of purchase (order confirmation email, invoice, or digital receipt from your OATH account). Watches purchased from unauthorised resellers or without valid proof of purchase are not eligible for warranty service.
